Ling Ling died today Dec. 3, 2009

Our beloved "neko" Ling Ling died. Ling also known as Betty was a great cat.

Sweet, sensitive with a little attitude. She loved to sit on Barney and my laps.

She came to us in 2003 after Miki went to a rest home.
She will be sorely missed.

Helen Inada was very ill but at the time cognizant said softly "debit" the Balance account. She was right!

A real bummer, our private beach has been opened to the public. I was surprised at the crowds of spectators.

Dale Inada at Fort Ord State Park

I am really sad that the new Fort Ord State Park has opened to the public. We had our own private beach for the last 2-3 years. Only a handful of people ever came down to our little bluff over the ocean.
