Passed the Pharmacy Technician Exam

Passed the Pharmacy Tech exam tonight. I drove to Milpitas and took the exam at 6:45pm. I was tired and had trouble with some questions. I was comforable with math computations but some questions appeared for a Hospital setting.

Now I am a CPhT.

Blood Bath at KGO Radio

On Nov. 30 KGO Radio fired most of their on air talent. Gene Burns, Lenn Tillem, Gil Gross and John Rothman were all let go.

The new management has decided to go with an "All News" format similiar to KCBS Radio.

I guess 30 years of being the number station in the area was enough.

Life at Wal-Mart One Year

I have been at Wal-Mart for over one year now, working in the Pharmacy the last 7 months.

My manager and co-workers in the Pharmacy are pretty cool.

I am close enough to go home for lunch and ride my bike back to work.

It beats commuting to the Bay Area.

My heart is broken. The Tsunami has killed over 10,000 people as of March 26, 2011. The reality is that number will go much higher with 12, 000 people still missing.

Barney Inada was proud of being born in Hawaii

Barney was Nihonjin, Japanese to the bone.

But he was born in Hawaii and he was proud of that as well.

Japanese Tsunami

Today was a horrible day for the nation of Japan. A 8.2 earthquake and tsunami has killed 100's of people in northern Japan.

It was a year ago today that Barney Inada died.

It was year ago today that Barney Inada died. The guilt and regret Barney's death still haunts me. I did so many things wrong that night. His death was avoidable if we responded when he first complained of pain.

I can still see his face when he collapsed grabbing his chest, the pain he endured must have
been excruciating. I started CPR, but I was doing it poorly.

I knew he was gone.

If there's a God or diety or some kind of Higher Power I am still angry that such a nice, sweet guy like Barney should die such a painful death.

There's not a day that goes by that I don't think of Barney and reflect on his life and agonize over his death.
